I liked this issue, and there's a very real chance I'm just getting tricked to like the book by the amount of Ninjas around.

Brian: Yeah...I just don't know about when Bruce gets back. I wish I could see him and Damian team up, but that makes no sense as Damian would actually respect Bruce, and it's more fun to see him working with a batman that he feels he's better than.

I know...batman "one and dones" would be great, and they don't exsist anymore. I can't remember the last one and done issue of any batman title, and that's disappointing (Brave and the Bold not included, and I haven't been reading Confidential).

As far as double mind-control: they use a black mask false face on him, and at the same time the mad hatter implants something in there. So 2x the mind-mastering fun!Jonathan Gelatthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04401389126033117427noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6281001892066804055.post-53145063215427259382010-02-22T19:10:42.844-05:002010-02-22T19:10:42.844-05:00First off, the Uncanny X-Men cover is amazing. It's like once Bruce is back, Dick's going to the wayside. Secondly, how does the Batman get double-mind-controlled? A while ago, after the One Year Later run, they told single issue tales about the DETECTIVE Batman, not the punch tossing freak in mail. I wish they'd go back to that -- it's been one of the highlights of the Dan Slott Spidey series. He reminds you that while the character can toss a bunch of punches, he's no slouch in the head games either. And thirdly, I agree about Damien. He's a pretty kick-ass Robin. He reminds me of Jason Todd, but I don't think DC would kill him. There's too much potential there.Brian Bannenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11075615904930286038noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6281001892066804055.post-3630146028817394842010-02-22T15:29:53.478-05:002010-02-22T15:29:53.478-05:00I haven't read DD #505 yet, but I have to say ...I haven't read DD #505 yet, but I have to say that Diggle is kinda disappointing me on DD. The title has been so strong for so long, and this arc is ranging from mediocre to just corny. Maybe I'm just too big a DD fanboy, I dunno...Tim Muccihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15302772860271992330noreply@blogger.com
